This nostalgic 1983 ornament features a charming “clothespin soldier” design — a wooden-style soldier figure fashioned like a clothespin nutcracker, painted in classic holiday red, green and gold. The piece is the second issue in the Clothespin Soldier series, capturing a vintage toy-soldier appeal ideal for mid-20th-century themed trees. The package typically includes the ornament and often its original box (with “1983” and QX402-9 model number printed) plus the hanging loop. No batteries, cords, lights or special power accessories are needed—just hang it and enjoy the retro styling.
