Everyone Loves the Holidays, Even Our Furry Friends
The Howliday Helpers series launched in 2024 with a simple and correct premise: dogs love Christmas, or at least dogs love the human excitement that surrounds Christmas, and the humans who love dogs want their dogs represented on the tree. "Everyone loves the holidays, even our furry friends!" the packaging announces. "Each miniature Christmas tree ornament in this fun new Howliday Helpers series will feature a different puppy that's decked out in festive garb." The first up: a cute corgi in a Santa hat and scarf, sculpted by Sharon Visker at 1.09 inches tall.
The word "howliday" is the entire series in one pun — a spelling that tells you exactly what this collection is and who it's for. For dog people, the pun is not embarrassing; it is accurate. Dogs do howl. Holidays are happening. These two facts have been combined. The miniature format suits the series perfectly: these are not grand sculptural tributes to the dog as a noble creature but small, charming, genuinely delightful ornaments at the scale of a real miniature dog figurine, each one in a Santa hat or scarf or whatever festive garb their year requires. The corgi goes first because the corgi has always been first — the breed with the largest personality-to-size ratio in the entire canine world. The schnauzer follows in 2025. How Small Is 1.09 Inches?
The Howliday Helpers ornaments are Hallmark MINIATURE — 0.76" W × 1.09" H × 1.12" D. That is approximately the size of your thumb's top joint. A corgi at that scale, in a Santa hat, with a scarf, in accurate brown and white coloring, sculpted by Sharon Visker — is a technical achievement as much as a charm offensive. These are small enough to hang on the tip of a branch, small enough to display in a teacup, and small enough that every dog lover who sees one immediately says the same thing: "Oh." Display them prominently so visitors can find them.

01Display the Howliday Helpers ornaments near the tree's tip on a thin branch where their miniature scale is most visible. At 1.09 inches tall, these ornaments disappear on a thick inner branch surrounded by full-size ornaments. They belong at the ends of branches — close to the tree's surface — where the miniature scale reads clearly and the Santa hat is visible without a magnifying glass.
