One Snowman Per Year
The concept is as simple and satisfying as a snowfall: each year of the decade gets its own ornament, and each ornament features a glittery snowman alongside a snow-sculpted version of that year's date. 2010 begins with a snowman in a green hat ready for the decade ahead; 2019 ends with a snowman waving goodbye as the decade closes. The Frosty Fun Decade series is the third entry in Hallmark's long-running tradition of decade-marking snowman and animal series — Fabulous Decade covered the 1990s, Cool Decade covered the 2000s with Arctic animals on ice numerals, and Frosty Fun Decade brought a dedicated snowman to the 2010s. The three series together form a continuous record spanning thirty years, one annual ornament at a time. Each decade gets its own aesthetic: the 1990s in one visual grammar, the 2000s in another, the 2010s in the warmth and glitter of a snowman standing beside his snowy year-marker.
Tammy Haddix created the series from its first entry in 2010 and stayed with it through all ten ornaments — ensuring the visual consistency that makes the complete decade display so satisfying. Each snowman is slightly different in pose, expression, and costume detail, but they share the same scale, the same glittery surface treatment, and the same essential character: cheerful, seasonal, completely at home in December.

Tammy Haddix — The Decade's Snowman Sculptor
Tammy Haddix is one of Hallmark's most versatile and beloved Keepsake artists — the creator of the Cool Decade series (2000–2009), the A Visit from Santa series, the A World Within miniature series, and now the Frosty Fun Decade — a career that spans three different decade-marking series, two different character types (Arctic animals and snowmen), and more than twenty-five years of Keepsake work.
For the Frosty Fun Decade, Haddix brought the same discipline she applied to the Cool Decade series: a consistent visual grammar (snowman, snow-sculpted year, glitter accents) that she varied enough year to year to keep each entry fresh while making the set instantly recognizable as a collection. The snowman's hat, scarf, and overall costume change from year to year; the format — figure beside year — stays constant. The final entry in the series gives its snowman a specific gesture: he's waving goodbye to the decade. Snow-sculpted "2019" with glitter accents, a festive snowman in striped scarf, hat, and mittens — and that wave, which reads simultaneously as a greeting and a farewell. The series announced from the beginning that it would run for exactly one decade and then close, making the 2019 entry the only ornament in the collection that was always intended to be final. The snowman who started the decade with a playful grin in 2010 ends it with a wave in 2019. Ten years. Complete.
