Profile Snapshot
Master Keepsake Designer with Hallmark since November 1996, having joined Hallmark in June 1988.
Born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri, Tammy’s passion for art blossomed early—she was constantly drawing on countertops and closet doors, delighting her artist mother.
With a strong foundation in drawing and illustration, she later transitioned into sculpting ornaments—starting as freelance before earning her permanent role in Keepsake Studios.
Today, she continues her fixture in the Keepsake Studio artist lineup—a testament to her more than 20 years of contributions.
“A Keepsake Ornament is something so special that you keep it forever. Thinking about people bringing my ornaments out every year…can’t even describe how it feels. It’s very touching and very emotional for me.”

Artistry & Inspiration
Tammy’s work is imbued with nostalgia, familial love, and charming storytelling. A favorite series under her hand is "A World Within" (launched in 2017), which was inspired by her grandmother Tropha’s vintage décor and enduring spirit—even after surviving a tornado.
Signature Ornament Themes
Snow Angel and related snowman angels—from 2018 onward, this unofficial series (including Shining Snow Angel, Sweet Star Angel, Lovable Snow Angel, Snow Angel, A World Within, and Snow Angel 2024) showcases soft halos, rosy-cheeked faces, and delicate snowflake wings.
Festive, sweet snowman and woodland animal motifs—like “Snow Buddies” and “Sweet Snowman”—imbued with charming expressions and simple magic.
Whimsical Santa figures, such as the 2000 “Toy Shop Serenade,” which bring heartwarming scene details—birds, handmade robes, and musical posture.
Why Collectors Cherish Her Designs
Emotionally resonant: Each piece feels personal—evoking family stories and heartfelt holiday traditions.
Beautifully detailed: Her training in illustration and sculpting shows in ornament intricacy—from textured scarves to expressive animal eyes.
Artistry grounded in storytelling: Inspired by real memories—from grandma’s ornaments to her sons—each creation is a piece of a larger holiday narrative.
